What Are The Causes of Dermatitis?

The causes of dermatitis are not particularly well understood by the medical profession and are still the subject of active research. It has been shown in the research that dermatitis usually occurs as a result of interaction between a combination of our immune systems, the general physical environment and genetic factors. The immune system of most dermatitis sufferers is extremely sensitive and as a consequence are more prone to react to a large number of irritants and allergens. It is believed that most people who suffer from dermatitis come from a family with a long term history of allergic conditions.
