Workable Symptoms of Allergic Reactions

Allergic reactions are the body’s response to something inhaled, touched or eaten that does not complement with ones immune system. There are various types and causes of allergies, however most allergic responses are alike and inter-related.

An allergic reaction differs in form and severity depending on the affected body parts of each individual. It can affect locally or in multiple body system depending on the type of allergy. The reaction to a specific allergen can have a diverse manifestation depending on the immune system of a person.

Anaphylaxis is an multi-system and severe allergic reactions in humans or other mammals. symptoms of anaphylaxis are related to the action of anaphylaxis of Immunoglobulin E (IgE)and other anaphylatoxins, which act to release histamine and other substances from mast cells. If the person is suffering from this, you may bring her/him to the doctor for checking her/him up.

If you may find the person anxious, sweaty or dry, confused and unconscious pale or red and can’t breathe normally she/he suffers the most common serious signs of allergic behavior which is called shock.

Some manifestations includes paleness or flush skin, anxiousness, altered level of consciousness, and cold, clammy skin.

Body’s immunity is weakened when allergic reactions progresses, so it would be better to take actions in eliminating allergens, seek medical help and follow the recommended treatment for the problem before it worsen. Other possible symptoms that can be observed during allergy attack depending on target area of allergy are as follows.

On the skin, you may notice redness, swelling, weeping, blistering, itching, and rash, eruption, crusting or hives. On respiratory system, you would experience wheezing, cough, and dyspnea or difficulty of breathing. On the eyes, redness, itchiness, tearing or swelling will be noted. When it’s on the digestive system, you may suffer from puffiness of the face and eyelids, swelling of tongue, lips, and throat, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and may also head headache.

If you suffer from symptoms of allergic reactions due to drugs or treatment, don’t forget to mention this to the health care provider. Sometimes, you have to call the ambulance when there is sudden, rapidly worsening and severe symptoms and widespread rash. Collapse or unconsciousness, confusion, vomiting, nausea and sweating are all symptoms of allergic reactions that need immediate attention.
