Allergies Slowing You Down - Try A Clear Air Solution
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008    Subscribe To Our FeedAllergies are a major problem for many people. Sneezing, coughing, itchy eyes all year long. Allergy shots, diet, and medicine can help the symptoms, but you need to find a way to stop the source of allergies. An air purification system is the perfect solution.
You have plenty of options when looking to purchase an air purification system. First of all, A HEPA filter system uses a high efficiency filter and a fan to blow through and trap dirty particles. It also has a separate carbon filter specifically designed to filter out molds and odors. This type of filter is the best in quality, as proven in tests by scientific organizations. Everything this type of filter does is top quality. If you turn this filter on in your home, you will soon be breathing easily and comfortably.
The next option is the high tech device called the ionizer. It has been criticized for not working that well, however. It works by electrically charging the air that goes through it and adding a charge to it. It will then cling to surfaces in the room such as plants, carpet, or furniture. This is effective at getting dust out of the air, but it then you must wash your bedding, dust, clean, and vacuum often so the allergens don’t accumulate too much.
Another option is the washable filter air purification system. Is is very similar to the hepa, with air running through a filter, trapping the dirt. Instead of replacing the filters like you must do with the hepa, you can simply wash the filter. This is a much cheaper option.
Before you purchase an air purification system, you should read plenty of scientific reports about your options. There are so many options at different price points, but some clearly work better than others. The reports will help you to narrow down your options, making your decision much easier especially when a building is labeled with sick building conditions. The ratings from the reports tests how much space they can clean at once, and how much they improve air quality on average. You will probably learn from these that you need larger systems to clean the air of large rooms, but if you just have a small room to clean, a small purifier will work just fine. The larger ones are predictably more expensive than the smaller ones. If you make your choice wisely, you will be breathing much healthier air and you will feel better because of it.
